Well, hello there and thanks for surfing my wave!
Whether it’s terrestrial or financial, California keeps getting pummeled with earthquakes; lately it’s been the latter.
Good Morning Unemployed Californians and welcome to your worst nightmare – the nastiest jobless rate since the Second World War. Do I hear a Third in the offing? I think it’s getting closer by the second; time to invest in camouflage…
So while we awake to this din, we hear the Feds yet again spewing their mouths off that the economy is “leveling out” with new signs and support to reassure an “encouraging economic assessment”. America is in recovery. With all do respect Mr. Bernanke, we ought to level your personal economy. I encourage it, but that’s just my assessment…
I loathe generalizations. You see, the perilous verbiage coming forth out of Washington does not, and will not, take into account the fact that all things Unemployment are regional where as the majority of the Western United States carries the burden of leading the Nation in joblessness and other financial down-turns. As long as Government oversimplifies the situation, it will prove to its constituents they really don’t care what happens. At some level, preferably all levels, our state of affairs needs to be taken seriously. As I’ve posted earlier, the powers that be get information from unchecked resources, take them at face value and are done with it. The only way to properly approach these issues is to break down the facts and figures and see where the problems really lie. Giving Americans two-faced statistics does nobody any good, but are we surprised coming from s-faced politicians? These jerks that we elect are disguise artists and will do anything to protect their own skins and the Lobbyists that grease their already dirty, grimy and pathetic hands.
So why do I write this? What can be accomplished by it or solution offered?
Well, first don’t rely on all that is coming from the outside; trust only you. Second, be optimistic within yourself. Regardless of the vacillating data heaved at us daily, all realistic indications point to hard times for the next year. There is no silver lining no matter how you look at it. This is the truth. The solution is to continually better ourselves in the face of adversity, because when it comes down to it, we only have ourselves to thank. Congress will not be sending a thank-you note for getting a job. They don’t care – we’re just social security numbers. Our pats on the back will come from us and only us. So stop looking for rationale from the beyond because it’s beyond them.
Is education the answer? It is no secret that undereducated people run a higher risk of unemployment, and in this State it’s higher by roughly five percent if you’re a numbers keeper; it is markedly higher, though. With the crisis California is undergoing, let alone getting work, our children are getting raped of adequate funding at all levels of public learning. Is it any wonder that this State has one of the highest rates of truancy? The subvention is bleak and the quality in the classrooms is worse. Now we shouldn’t be sitting idly by begging for hand-outs, but the current system is broken and out of control.
As long as we hear gobbledygook from Capitol Hill, and as long as those same blasphemous individuals refuse to visit the trenches (us) they will prolong our suffering indefinitely.
Not a soul is worried about or interested in us, so we must take the upper hand and do it ourselves. My goal is to assist with achieving your initiative – that passion and drive to go forth and care about you where no one else will.
