Well, hello there and thanks for surfing my wave!
Dare I say take a break from all this monotony and hardship? Dare I say be so bold as to let things be, be done with it and run for the hills? Dare I say abscond from your daily strife and bewilderment?
Dare I say take a vacation? Yes!
Now I’m not saying you should jet-set to The French Riviera or the Sands of Oahu (well, I am, but who can afford that?!), but what I am saying is to get away for awhile, cheaply, and rest your mind, gather your thoughts and refresh your creative juices.
I Am!
Yes, indeed! I’m taking the family up to the mountains for a leisurely retreat; pack your own repast as to save costly food prices dining out, find some remote neck of the woods, bring some cards, books and videos and take a few days off.
It is well documented that physical health is key in our daily lives; always get some form of exercise each day, but the other side of this is mental health as well. There comes a point in this chaos we call the job hunt that you must take a concerted and complete break to gain back your strength and mental acumen.
Take a deep breath and just let it go for a while. What better place in which to take in all those deep and full breaths than the mountains? It will revitalize your brain and your lungs, so you can get a good mind, body and soul cleansing all at the same time…and for one price.
Go somewhere – look for some good deals locally and go for it! Guaranteed, you’ll thank yourself in the end. Leave your stresses and messes at home and exchange them for whatever is calling you, momentarily.
So be good to yourself and all those around you, throw out and forget your troubles. Come on, get happy!
