Well, hello there and thanks for surfing my wave!
Well, I did it again – and it’s getting real creepy.
At some point in all our lives we believe we are being followed, tracked or maybe led to some clandestine location. Let’s admit it now and get it over with. Things do happen for a reason, or so they say, and it’s always a perplexing adventure figuring all that out. But when things start adding up too quickly and start making sense, that’s when you take off the blinders and begin getting a trifle scared. The signs and order in which things occur are, for me, getting strange. Very, very strange.
Granted, writing on a daily basis about a dreadful topic – unemployment – and trying to make it interesting (and humorous at times) can be difficult, especially when things reach an impasse. Truthfully, nothing is happening on the traditional job front and as far as this blog is concerned, things are at a stand still. Yes, I am still posting and, quite interestingly, deriving immense enjoyment but, a lot needs to be done in the background (what you aren’t reading or seeing) to make it prettier and more efficient for both me and you. I have met with several people wanting to help me as I’ve mentioned in prior posts. And again these are the same individuals who have turned their backs on more traditional fronts.
I woke up today in a personal tether feeling off-balance as things don’t always go one’s way. Life. So I took my daughter to school per usual and thought – what’s today up to? Well, catching up on reading sounded good; when in doubt, feed on some external stimulus, right?
BINGO!
Like an idiot (objectively, please!) I, once again, go to my horoscope (Libra) and figure what the heck…

No way? I told you this was strange! Remember, this crap is ‘meant for entertainment purposes only’. Hmmm. What on Earth is going on here? I WANT TO KNOW! Oh, sorry – this is supposed to be fun and enchanting. Only sometimes. Okay, so am I to believe that of all things going on in my life right now, only 2 are being challenged? I was thinking that my Corporate life was going down the tubes to be replaced by what I now self-title, “Literary and Technology Adventurist”. Catchy-cool, eh. I guess not.
I feel I’m doing everything in my power, and then some, to bring success and pleasure to all aspects of my life – and, this minute, nothing is happening or readily appears to be working. So how does this horoscope define balance, challenge and success? Ah, the answer – it doesn’t. So we must carry on with the days’ and weeks’ festivities not knowing where the chips may fall, but what a game it is we’re playing. High stakes, mesmerizing choices as life hangs in the balance.
What’s worse: playing on a high wire with no net or spinning plates on rows of sticks using the china that’s been in your family for centuries?
