Well, hello there and thanks for surfing my wave!
I would never guess or fathom in a million years that I would be called an ideas man. I know plenty of people who are; patents, trademarks, start-up industries – all of it. They’ve got the wherewithal and they can juggle a lot with their time. I don’t know where they get it from, but they usually succeed at it.
Well, just call me a late bloomer!
I believe that there are things inside brewing unbeknownst to us. They just wait for that opportunity, that window of time and space where the gestation period is over. And then it boils over; that energy from within bursts like some chemical reaction gone awry, unfettered.
Passion.
Very few things in life have given me such drive and determination to learn and seize what limitations they hold. Maybe boundaries are nonexistent here. What can’t be done?
In this day and age, I suggest for all to try and outsmart our predecessors. Consider that I have been enraptured by this depression-, anxiety- and tumult-laden nightmare we call unemployment to be placed face to face with another enemy, fear. Fear of the unknown; fear of what has yet to be or possibly never will. I’ve read your posts on job boards, forums and discussion threads and have all that in common with you. With all the new technology and platforms in which to communicate, now is the time to experiment with your inner soul and call out – we’re listening. What’s in your gut; what is truly reaching for new life, a chance to thrive? What latent talents or message have I to offer? If you spend your aching hours playing an instrument, start composing and put lyrics to it and use this medium we call the virtual playing field to pitch it out there and maybe someone will catch it and relate to this ball of fire you call your life. If you go to the beach, bring a canvas and paint it with deep sentiments of white hot emotion as you see the white-capped waves of mood swings foaming at the tips and then crashing on the rocks below as if your head has just exploded with frustration and despair. And then it comes over you; hot flashes burning with vibrant shades of hope, healing and renewal and then the fever chills your soul to the very core, the essence of your spirit. You need to pass this song on to others and soon you find as this creation moves about it gains speed with each harmonic note and next thing you know, you have the world engaged in chorus.
Feel The Heat. Passion.
Standing Ovation! Bravo! Encore! And you thought you were just a back-up artist…
